Indications
It is used as antitussive, expectorant. Treatment of disorders of bronchial secretions during bronchopulmonary infections.

(Talc, gelatin, magnesium stearate, sucrose, acacia, methyl hydroxybenzoate, propyl hydroxybenzoate, titanium dioxide, beeswax, hard paraffin).
Actions
– Terpin has been stated to increase bronchial secretion directly and has been given by mouth as an expectorant.
– Sodium benzoate is a mild antiseptic and expectorant.
– Dextromethorphan hydrobromideis a cough suppressant that acts upon the cough center in the oblongata.
Contra-Indications
– Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredient of TERPIN MEKONG.
– Respiratory depression.
– Pregnancy or lactation.
– Children under 30 months of age.
– Children with history of seizures or febrile convulsions.
Side effect
– Rare: dizziness, gastrointestinal upset.
– Inform your doctor about side– effects when using this medicine.
Precaution
– Asthmatic cough.
– Use with caution in drivers or operators of machinery.
Interaction
Avoid combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitor, quinidine and psychotherapeutic agents, alcohol, alcoholic beverages.
OVERDOSAGE:
Should overdosage occur, turn to the nearest healthcare facility for medical attention of the healthcare professionals.

Storage
Store in a dry place (RH ≤ 70%), not exceeding 30oC. Protect from light.
Dosage
– Adults: 1 – 2 tablets, 3 times daily.
– Children (5 – 15 years of age): 1 – 3 tablets/day depending on the age of the patient.
